Scotland . . . Dumfries and Galloway . . . Local wildlife . . . the gems of this part of the world are hidden, but radiant! My stories are designed to make people want to come and visit this area. And picture books . . . well, who doesn't love them?!
They are supposed to be directed at children, but I think adults love them just as much, if not more!
I've been a song and story writer for as long as I can remember. Picture books are the stories that I remember from my childhood that fired my imagination. They made me fall in love with writing and the power that words have to create worlds, stir emotions and tell stories.
In writing my books, I want to try and do the same for the children and adults who read them. And if they want to come to Scotland after they have read them, then I would be over the moon!
